Tioga's Story
Tioga is a young mountain lion whose story began under difficult circumstances. After being bred in captivity, he was deemed non-releasable and could never safely return to the wild. Instead, he found a forever home at The Nature of Wildworks, where he can grow, explore, learn, and thrive while inspiring thousands of people to appreciate and protect his wild cousins.
Every day brings something new for Tioga—from climbing, pouncing, and investigating every inch of his habitat to training sessions, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to practice being the incredible mountain lion he was born to be. As he continues to grow, so do his needs.
