Punxsutawney Phil’s cousin, Murray, lives at the Nature of Wildworks.  When will Murray see his shadow?  According to tradition, a groundhog emerges from its burrow that day to predict the weather for the coming weeks.  If the groundhog sees its shadow (meaning it’s sunny), it’s said there will be six more weeks of winter. If it doesn’t see its shadow (cloudy weather), it means spring will arrive early.

Vote now!  Just $10/date for a chance to see all the animals in the lower portion of our care center.  This includes our young mountain lion, Tioga, and our young Canadian Lynx, Bear.  And of course, you will get to meet Murray.

How to Participate:
 

• Submit your prediction—when will Murray see his shadow?
  January 20 thru March 15, 2026

• Win a tour for two adults and tour the lower portion for the correct prediction!
