Murray was born in the spring of 2021 and was destined to be a movie star. Unfortunately, he did not quite cut it. The movie industry is very fast-paced and Murray was well... not. He was a little skittish of people and preferred a slower moving environment. The people at his original home realized this and decided he would not live the best life with them, so they contacted us and asked if we would be interested in a baby groundhog. Of course we said yes! Our sweet prairie dog Dandelion came from them, so they new we would be a good fit.

Murray is still forming his relationship with us, but is making good progress. Hopefully one day you will get to meet him on a visit to our facility, but for now he just enjoys the company of his caretakers. In the meantime you can see adorable photos and videos of him through our social media!
