Zuma Puma

Domestic Cat
-
Back Tour Forward

Her Story

Zuma was adopted from an animal shelter in 2004 to be a companion to Foxy, our African fennec fox, as well as a teaching animal at our educational programs. She was a brave calico kitten, and she loved riding in the Wildworks van.  For two years she was a star in our educational programs, helping us to teach people that domestic cats make good pets while wild and exotic cats do not.  Then she suddenly decided that cats don’t like to ride in the car and became shy and nervous when traveling. She’s now a “house” cat sharing her habitat with her large tabby cat friend, Bob. Zuma has her own perch in the house so she can watch everything that's going on outside, and she ventures out now and then to spend time with Foxy in his enclosure.
