His Story

Smoke, our little gray fox, came to us in 2005 when he was only four weeks old. He’s shyer than his best friend, Fire, the red fox, who shares his enclosure, but he gives as good as he gets in tussles. In the wild these two species of fox would be enemies, in competition with one another, but because Fire and Smoke were raised together they have grown to be very close.
