Her Story

Fire is a rambunctious red fox. She is very friendly and outgoing and wags her tail when people approach. She came to Wildworks in 2005 at four weeks of age and lives with her best friend, Smoke, a gray fox. Fire now travels to our educational programs. Red foxes are still trapped and bred for the fur industry. We think her beautiful fur coat looks better on Fire then it ever would on people.
